New to Company Workers’ Compensation Premium Discount- California - Official Rules

THIS DISCOUNT IS FOR THE PURPOSE OF SOLICITING SALES OF INSURANCE PRODUCTS. Void where prohibited by law and outside the United States. Subject to all federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and ordinances.  
Eligibility: To qualify for The Dentists Insurance Company (TDIC)  New To Company Discount you must meet all the following qualifications: 

  1. You must be a dentist, licensed in good standing in California;
  2. You must be an employer in the state of California; 
  3. You must submit a completed application for TDIC workers’ compensation insurance and not have previously had a workers’ compensation policy with TDIC in the last four years; and
  4.  Your application for TDIC workers’ compensation insurance must meet TDIC’s underwriting criteria and must be accepted for coverage.  

Applicants meeting all the qualifications will receive a  discount to their TDIC Workers’ Compensation policy premium as follows: 

  • 15% off the first policy term;
  • 10% off the second policy term; and
  • 5% off the third policy term. 

For applicants not previously insured with TDIC for Workers’ Compensation in the last four years, the discounts will apply to the first three policy terms. For policyholders insured with TDIC for Workers’ Compensation before April 1, 2025 are not eligible for this discount program. 

The Dentists Insurance Company (“TDIC”), 1201 K Street, 14th Floor, Sacramento, California, 95814, offers a package of insurance plans for dentists, including professional and dental business liability, commercial property, workers’ compensation, employment practices liability, and cyber protection. Not all lines of coverage are offered in every state.   


Premium discounts cannot be substituted, assigned, transferred, or redeemed for cash. Premium discounts may be used in conjunction with other promotions or offers.
